All clients participating in muscular strength-based classes are encouraged to begin their FORM Fitness Journey with a FORM Fitness Assessment; a unique element for our studio.
what is a form fitness assessment?
A FORM Fitness Assessment is a one-on-one session designed to help us:
discover opportunities for improved movement,
locate potential problem areas where you might be prone to injury, and
be aware of how your body responds to exercise.
what can i expect from my form fitness assessment?
You’ll get an hour long session with a personal trainer. Together, you’ll complete a Functional Movement Screen (FMS), a screening tool used to evaluate your seven fundamental movement patterns.
why do i need to complete a form fitness assessment?
Your FORM Fitness Assessment will give us individualized knowledge on how you move and information on past injuries so we can modify exercises for you as needed. From what we learn during the assessment, you’ll be given mobility exercises unique to your body so you can warm up properly before class.
